About Us

IMG_3308Steve was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. Saved as a child and brought up in the church, he was heavily involved in music ministry. As a teenager, he fell away from attending church at all and eventually found his way to alcohol. In February of 2010, he broke the cycle when he surrendered his life back to Christ, found an AA meeting and made some meaningful connections there. He quickly returned to church and reconnected with friends, maintaining his sobriety through AA and the people there.

Sharon is from Honesdale, Pennsylvania, also born and raised in the church. She spent her childhood active in ministry, helping with Vacation Bible School, nursery and other kids programs from a young age. As a teenager, she got involved with youth ministry, but during college slipped away from the church. In 2008, She returned to church and ministry, became involved in leadership with a new church and eventually moved to Arizona where she met Steve.

We were married in 2012, our son Adam was born in 2013 in Arizona and Millie Anne was born in 2015 in Delaware.

In the summer of 2017, we were both confronted with the notion that we weren’t doing enough, we were not serving to our full capacity in church and outside of it and so we sought to change that. As we sought out God’s will, involving ourselves in whatever opportunity or project that needed two hands, we fast discovered that we were being asked to do more. In January 2018, God used our searching and frustration to lead us to full-time ministry. We spent time in prayer and study, found a ministry with the Navajo Nation and were accepted to join their team on June 3rd, 2018.
